Prince's Golf Course
The legendary Gene Sarazen won the Open Championship here in 1932. It was torn up during World War II and it now has a new layout of three nine hole loops. It is used as a pre-qualifying course when the Open comes to Royal St. Georges.

It is situated in Sandwhich Bay, Kent known as the Garden of England and it’s an example of some of the finest links land in Britain and is playable throughout the entire year. The greens are famous here for being in excellent condition resulting in very fast and true surfaces. It has a uniquely honest design feature where from the middle of every fairway the bottom of every flag stick can be seen. However protection is fairly portioned out for those who stray into the ancient dunes for the rough grasses are well used to multiplying a reasonable score quickly.

There is never a moment where you will not be impressed with views over Sandwich Bay leading to the white cliffs of Ramsgate and a warm welcome awaiting you in the clubhouse, there are no excuses!

Description
The choice of courses in England is almost endless for the discerning golf visitor. There are mighty seaside links such as those of Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake, where the Amateur Championship was born and where Bobby Jones won the Open Championship in his historic Grand Slam year of 1930. There is plenty of historic interest in English golf, with the oldest existing course in England and Westward Ho in Devon. The club was formed there in 1864 and today sheep continue to grace the ancient links on this common land.
