Ryder Cup matches were played over the Brabazon course in 1985,
1989 & 2002.

Home
to the European PGA the Brabazon course has been host to three
Ryder Cups in 1985, 1989 & 2002 giving The Belfry a unique
place in European Golf history. The Brabazon and the shorter
Derby course are set out with a lot of manmade features including
water hazards, lakes & mounds. With an American style, target
golf comes into play with the positioning of your golf ball
to correct areas the key to scoring well.
