The creation of St. Mellion is the result of vision and tenacity. Home to a truly championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus with the brief to build the best course in Europe and, as Jack has said, it’s “potentially the world's greatest galleried golf course”.

The resort, nestled deep in the idyllic Cornish countryside, is home to two wonderful courses -the famous Nicklaus Course and the Old Course, both well worth playing. It has been described as the Augusta of Cornwall and one of the few places in Britain where there is a distinct possibility of bumping into Jack himself.

The championship course has all the hallmarks of Jack Nicklaus that can be found at Mount Juliet in Ireland to Gleneagles in Scotland further enhanced by the natural beauty that is unmistakably Cornish. The Resort also contains a luxury hotel with state of the art leisure facilities.

From 1990 hosted the Benson & Hedges European Tour Event 6 times

Cornwall: a land of wild and rugged coastlines and the barren mystery of the ancient Bodmin Moor, site of the famous Jamaica Inn.

Dartmoor National Park: Beautiful moorland scenery, wild ponies and clotted cream!

Plymouth: On September 6, 1620, the MAYFLOWER set sail from Plymouth across the North Atlantic with its famous 102 passengers, into history.
