The creation of St. Mellion is the result of vision and tenacity.
Home to a truly championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus
with the brief to build the best course in Europe and, as Jack
has said, it’s “potentially the world's greatest galleried
golf course”.
The
resort, nestled deep in the idyllic Cornish countryside, is
home to two wonderful courses -the famous Nicklaus Course and
the Old Course, both well worth playing. It has been described
as the Augusta of Cornwall and one of the few places in Britain
where there is a distinct possibility of bumping into Jack himself.
The
championship course has all the hallmarks of Jack Nicklaus that
can be found at Mount Juliet in Ireland to Gleneagles in Scotland
further enhanced by the natural beauty that is unmistakably
Cornish. The Resort also contains a luxury hotel with state
of the art leisure facilities.

Cornwall:
a land of wild and rugged coastlines and the barren
mystery of the ancient Bodmin Moor, site of the famous Jamaica
Inn.
Dartmoor National Park: Beautiful moorland scenery,
wild ponies and clotted cream!
Plymouth:
On September 6, 1620, the MAYFLOWER set sail from Plymouth
across the North Atlantic with its famous 102 passengers,
into history.
