Another
James Braid design that is located some 10 miles north of
Dornoch. The further north you travel into the highlands the
more dramatic and spectacular the scenary becomes.
The
course offers a unique opportunity to experience three types
of golf. The first three holes offer lush meadowland, it eases
you into the course with sympathetic ease from where the course
moves to the coast and a links of sandy dunes with fast running
greens is tasted and tested for the remainder of the front
nine. The remainder of this experience is played through rich
avenues of heath with heather, silver birch and pines.

An
excellent base to enjoy the magnificent highland
scenery, or the golden sands of the Dornoch
Firth.
Visit
Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Dukes of
Sutherland. The family museum houses a range of historic
artefacts and the bizarre trophy room, with exhibits brought
back by the 5th Duke and his wife from his hunting trips
aroud the world, including everything from elephants to
iguana and porcupine
