It is a qualifying venue when the Open is being held at Muirfield
East Links, Dunbar, East Lothian

This is another of Scotland’s traditional links courses. Built in the classic out and back arrangement with a loop around the turn in much the same fashion as the Old Course at St. Andrews.

An Open venue qualifying course for nearby Muirfield, it is consistently in excellent playing condition. Its main defences are the prevailing winds from the Firth of Forth and the North Sea coupled with a devilish bunkering system. From the 4th hole the beach lies close by and is always in play.
