Dooks has been a golfing retreat since 1889. The golf course is played over a long stretch of sand dunes near Dingle Bay. With the McGillycuddy Reeks mountains as a backdrop and the ever temperamental sea at the forefront, Dooks links was laid by nature. Greens lay where they fell and the better for it say the locals.

It is a very attractive and stimulating links course that forces you to use your imagination. It has commanding views over dune peninsulas of Rossbeigh and Inch.
The layout is reasonably modest in length and testing. This is the way golf was at the beginning.

It’s close to Glenbeigh, Killorglan or even Killarney where a little Irish hospitality is not far away.
